Maybe buy the first one, then buy the second, and then cancel both accounts at the same time.

If you buy then cancel then try to buy another one they may have a few questions for you and *may* end up telling you to get lost.

magu: Just got an email from a Vodafone Retail Store mentioning they have received new stock of 16GB (30) and 32GB (7) models, and that they'll be selling on a first-come-first-served basis from tomorrow morning.

Gonna pay a visit to my local Vodafone shop to see if I can get one.

is it said any specific store locations?

The email I got was FROM a specific store, not head office, so yes.

Other stores may differ.

where do you live about anyway? auck?
lol we're kinda in the same situation at the moment, so desperate for iphone 4 :), hope we'll going to score one in the next 12 hours :)

haha indeed true,
will actually they allow 1 people to get 2 iphones due to their, say "limited" stocks?
what i heard is that it is only 1 device limited per person :(

I may email some stores in chch to find out which ones might have stock next weekend. I'm planning to keep the contract till the 3gb runs out or I find I'm not using that much.

I am in Auckland, yes.

From the number of devices they say they got and the amount of people on the list I put my name for, I'd say they got the exact amount (or pretty close to that) of devices to fulfill it.

I just phoned my local store and he says they've had a million calls already that there is an email floating about that they got more iPhones, but he knows nothing about it, or where the email came from. I didn't mention us. He has had no notification from Vodafone that there were more phones coming. Looks like there is still no shortage of people waiting to pounce on even a rumour. Sadly I have to work :-(

Went to St Lukes, they said they got 10 yesterday and all sold out. No idea when getting new ones.

Rang Manukau, sold out.

Just got back from Queen St store (the one I got an email from). All 7 32GB sold out to the first seven in the queue. Very disappointed (I was number 14 or something).

The remaining 16GB models will probably sell out, as there were around 30 people in queue when I left.

I do not understand why Vodafone are not accepting pre orders at this stage. those of us who work full time cannot afford to play this game of lolly scramble with the Vodafone stores - why can't we put our names on a list and wait ?

I also have given up and ordered through Apple, let the students and those with plenty of time scrap it out for the VF ones.

I will ask if anyone knows of a VF or first Mobile that are taking pre orders ?

Ditto. 3 weeks. @#$% Vodafone. Will change ASAP if I can get enough data for a good price somewhere else.
