I got a survey from apple via email...to fill out about how I like my new phone...

Funny, since it hasn't arrived yet. :)

The transit time for me was only 3 or so business days I think. Less than the 6 days Apple stated.
I have had mine 2 weeks now and I am VERY happy with it. Battery life is excellent considering how much I am using it -pretty much all the time. I have been impressed with the camera ad long as you allow for plenty of light you should get good shots.
The retina display really is as awesome as everyone says. My ebooks look clear and crisp.

I am using a case, the Speck Candyshell in white which is proving a good choice for me. Plenty of protection and does not look so Iphony which I prefer. I am not a poser and attention makes me nervous.

I know I'm banging on like everyone else but the screen really is amazing. I've just upgraded from a 3G and the difference is quite staggering in the screen. Everything looks so crisp. Plus it feels really different. The 3G feels a bit like a toy next to the 4G. I'm very please with my upgrade.

Glad to hear it's finally shipped!

got mine from Apple, had it less than a week
used the headphones once, lost sound from the earpiece- --Gutted !

off to MFR, had a replacement the next day ----Yay !
MFR told me they do not know if the replacement phones are new or referb
even with the 3g's Apple do not tell them.
he did say it would probably be new as the phone is so new but over time to expect referbs

My original Ph had firmware 4.01 the replacement 4.00

iPhone turned up about 15 minutes ago. Yay! One major problem.... its my wifes, so I'm suffering major phone envy right now  :-D

I'm charging for her now so she can have a play when she gets home. One question though; we got her a 2Degrees microsim on the weekend, but haven't ported her Vodafone phone number over to it yet. Will we have any problems if I activate the phone now with the original microsim phone number, considering it will have a different number associated with it in a few hours?
