I can't believe NZ still doesn't have official Apple stock of the iPad!  Anyway, you can look at companies that parallel import them in - this applies to the iPhone 4 too.  When official stock does finally arrive in NZ, your parallel imported iPad / iPhone will be covered, unless I am mistaken.
