Well nothing at Vodafone Lambton Quay, no stock at JB's BNZ centre either...

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

oxnsox: Apple and Voda staff are going to be too busy today monitoring this thread to bother selling anything

I doubt Apple monitors Geekzone. We were never in their radar. Vodafone staff knows already this thread will be full of complaints. So they won't bother. They will go back to their caves.

Comon MF you've been up an hour or soo already... its a day for humour.....

so no launch today, that is disappointing, more disappointing that they didn't bother to keep people informed.
Hopefully they make some announcement and let people know what is going on early today.

geekiegeek: No iphone 4 today, go back to what you were doing, nothing to see here.

If you're going to say something like that, how about you back it up with some evidence, otherwise you are just trolling.

Have you been reading this thread this morning? Its becoming pretty obvious that none of the regular iPhone retailers are selling iPhone 4's today. My statement may not be fact but I would call it a pretty good prediction.

Well considering not a single one of them has actually opened for the day, it's a bit early to call that.

Both had staff that popped their heads out. Nice of them to squash the rumours and needless waiting. I was at JB's when it happened myself. The 10-15 others had moved on from VF after being told.

Whomever's at fault, whether it be Apple or Vodafone (or both), you can't deny there's a lot of arrogance gone into this launch and its marketing, and the customers are the ones who lose. If only it wasn't for the screen-emitted subliminal messages keeping us addicted, people would be walking.

mattbush: iphone sellors in Aussie certainly know how to treat their customers. Well done Australia.

Again, read the thread - JB, Magnum and VF stores have all had staff tell those queuing that its not happening. VF have removed all iPhone 4 material off there website. I stand by my call.

Whoever is at fault, this is going to hurt Vodafone a hell of a lot more than it's going to hurt Apple

Lats: @ajobbins was just outside mm welly and staff said they didn't have it, so we are all now wandering aimlessly round town.

Like homeless bums as I predicted earlier this week!

As stated in the New Zealand Herald! Vodafone have been royally Rogered by Apple!
