I got my 32GB at New Lynn (LynnMall) Vodafone, woohooooo!!

Didn't get a bumper as they said they didn't have any, so I assume we just download the app and do it that way.

Hurry up 5:30, I wanna get home and play with this thing!

UrbanGrafix: Well I just called up VF and gave them a talking too. Apparently they didn't know that you had to be 18+ months into contract to resign to get one for some reason (Yeah right)

And no I am going to be called back (apparently) and have the situation explained etc.

Useless pricks, all I wanted was the dam phone and talk about a waste of a day and then being told no

And exactly how difficult would it have been for you to find this out a few days ago......

Just went to Riccarton mall, Vodafone shop have not recieved any, First Mobile have them.
Even though I only have 6 weeks to go on my contract, they will not let me resign unless I pay the $150 early resign fee.
I will wait another six weeks....

freitasm:
djaggar: I also picked up the only case they had, a Pink Case Mate Barely There.

I thought ALL iPhone 4 handsets would be distributed with free cases?

$34.95 is on the bill (which also has $1279 for the phone, -$480 for iPhone 40 plan). They did not have bumpers and offered a "number to call". I'm pretty sure Apple said they'll refund other manufactures cases but for $35 I thought I'd get one now. It also had a (poorly fitting) screen protector in with the case ...

I caved.

I have iPhone 4.

I got pissed off on behalf of someone turned away with more than 6 months remaining in their contract wanting to re-sign.

That's complete BULL

I just cancelled 4 accounts my family had with vodafone.  I hate being mucked around, probably won't mean much to them of course because obviously they aren't too worried about their customers.

Absolute circus of a "launch", whoever organized that circus should get the axe.
Whoever decided not to bother letting customers know should go too.

Kilack: I just cancelled 4 accounts my family had with vodafone.

At least somebody is following through on the talk, rather than grumbling about Vodafone while they stand in line at Vodafone to sign a 2 year contract with Vodafone. Tongue out

Try 6 weeks .

You are allowed to do it. You have to pay. You signed the contract. "Suck it up" as someone said.

But someone with 6-12 months remaining is allowed to re-sign with a $150+gst fee ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN T&Cs.

So to the person that said "suck it up", you are totally wrong there. VF is CHOOSING who they sell their iPhone to and are screwing those early adopters who will queue year on year to get the new iPhone with Vodafone.

Nice one Vodafone!!
