Just looked at the status of my order for the Ipad...
It's now saying prepared for shipment... it's been like that for more than a day. Hope fully it'll leave Shenzhen soon enough i'm thinking the delivery now should be closer to the 15th Jul rather than the 8th Jul... so hopefully you'll pass it mid air on your way to Hong kong.... haha...

Also ordered an magic case for the ipad which has arrived and i missed the delivery so will pick that up tomorrow..
Haven't I told ya? Now sometime when you look at it it will be shipped and sooner it will be in your hands! I will buy my case this Saturday in Hong Kong. I want one that covers the back and the front of the Ipad. By the way I'm just enjoying my Ipad very much!
any way enjoy your trip to HK... and just a suggestion apple recommends that if you want a cover that cove's the whole i pad to use the incase cover which is like a book and also it really cover the ipad well its 99NZD on the online shop..
Just got this tracking number from Apple 765211192 on TNT
Now just have to wait till it gets to NZ.... this is what pisses me off in being in CHC they wont let you pick it up on Saturday so i have to wait all the way till next week...
Very strong suggestions that there will be a higher spec (read retina display) version of the iPad 2 announced in September for October release, along with the iPhone 5\4GS.
Probably needs its own thread... not meaning to derail this one entirely.
Good stuff eh? I love it. Sometimes I thinks if should've gotten a 3G one as I love using it at work and the wi-fi over there doesn't reach everywhere ... But it's good for now. Have fun, i'm glad you got it
