codyc1515: Yes but the website also said that online pre-orders took priority over those in store. Now look at who was first to get them: in store or those who we're supposed to have priority online? Yeah, thought so.

As far as stock availability goes the preorders probably did take priority though. I'm sure the shops are only allocated stock after the online orders had been taken into account, and most likely still do so. If there had been lots of online orders the supply in shops would have been constrained but you would have been guaranteed your order as it was placed online.

When you placed your order, it very clearly said that you would receive it 3-5 days after the 11th, this was plain to see before you placed your order and these are the conditions on which you placed your order and you knew this as we had discussed it earlier. Just because the wording in the email came as the standard wording saying 3-5 days I would not expect this to override the information you were given when you decided to place the order, it is obviously the standard wording. It was ovbious that the agreement with Apple was to not ship before 11th so getting upset and holding onto just one piece of information when all the others say different is unrealistic and only causing you upset.

That's why I made my previous comment. Relax, you will get it on Monday or Tuesday, enjoy a few hours making it look just "yours" and then go around showing off.

Guys.

What is a good quality screen protector?

I got a 2 pack and bubbles everywhere, even the sticker to hold it with wouldn't unpeel without tearing.

I think my iPhone4 one was Gecko. Also needs to install easily, this one would not go bubblefree, so dang frustrating. Or I may go naked, given that I don't carry it in my pocket with card, coins, keys. Any suggestions on if going naked is wise?

Sure did, and the salesperson let me know about the deal they have for a certain number of minutes/texts/data (it's not much - But enough to get an idea of some of the services) if I want to use it.

About time:

Dear Cody

Thank you for your email regarding your Iphone.

I can confirm the phone has been issued to Courier Post (track and trace 0009401XXXXX15904436) and this may have even been delivered today however if not it is likely to be Monday. They have not updated their online site as yet, if you were out this morning you may wish to check your letter box as if they tried to deliver they would have left a card to call.

If you wish to check with Courier Post directly just call 0800 Courier or go to http://www.courierpost.co.nz/ using the above number

Kind regards

Judith

Never had a screen protector on my iPhone 4 and rubbed keys against it and all sorts and it never got scratched.

I had best skins ever on both my 3GS and iphone4. I've ordered them again for my 4s as well.

Not sure what one of those are! I found JB Hifi in Welly to have a pretty good selection.

Yep, went on the Cadbury Chocolate factor tour of all places. It was good, got loads of "free" chocolate.

Congratulations: you are correct!
