I noticed exact same thing.  I thought Snap cached iTunes content so thought it would be going faster.  First 100mb flew by...

pulling it down now at about half a meg per second which is pretty good for my connection.

Download complete, upgrade in progress. Took about 50min on VF DSL 6:25 to 7:15
