Got an iPhone 4S from the Apple store.

Decided to get new XT Prepaid.
had $10 credit, tested txt n call. it works.
I realise that on my Settings > Phone > My Number showing Unknown.
can't click the Unknown for edit.
It's the same on iTunes > Phone Number N/A
try Reset All Settings & Erase All Content and Settings on the phone n still the same.

Chuck in a voda n 2d sims, both showing the number on the phone and iTunes.

hope anyone manage to help. Thanks

not sure is this the right forum maybe this is Telecom or Apple, if wrong please moved to correct one.

tried Restore n Erase everything start from scratch still wasn't working.
At the end put the XT sim card on another non compatible old phone, end up go to the contact My Number there type the number and Save it.
Then put the XT sim back to iPhone n it works now... the number showing on My Number & iTunes Phone Number.
