Hi guys and girls.

I'm selling my TF201 on Trademe so I can build a new PC for uni.
I will take $25 off the winning price for my fellow geekzone members.

Happy bidding

Kopkiwi: How does this compare to the 300?

Hi, They are very similar. The TF201 (that im selling) has a metal spun finish on the back.
The TF300 has a plastic back.

The 201 has a slightly bigger battery that lasts longer and is a slightly slimmer device than the TF300.

The TF300 to my knowledge was just produced to fix issues people were having with the GPS. With the gps dongle attached to the 201 it works fine.

Full specs for the TF201 here

personally prefer the 201 for the better finish and longer battery life. The TF300 does however fix the poor GPS signal that the 201 had when the dongle isn't attached.

Was looking at getting this from JB

But would love 64GB. Could be tempted...

Yeah. The TF300 is a good tablet but the plastic finish always put me off. Plus I like having the extra battery life. I found having the larger storage capacity was useful when traveling as it meant I could load up tonnes of movies and TV.

The 64GB primes are considerable more expensive then the 32GB TF300 because of the extra capacity and metal finish:

Here is a few others on Trademe for comparison.

64GB with dock $950

32GB with dock $899

64GB with dock $880

If you were interested I can sell it before anyone bids on Trademe for $800 cash/bank transfer.

If you are in Wellington you are welcome to come have a play. I'm home all tonight and most of tomorrow(Miramar).

I found it was a really good tablet for me at Uni but I need a PC for my uni work. I'm using my laptop at the moment and some of the programs I am running grind a bit.

Am really keen and at $800 you've just pretty much sold me.

No issues with it, still in perfect working order? Running 4.0.4? Will get 4.1?

I had an issue with the screen (dead pixel) but sent it to the Asus repair centre in Auckland and it is as good as new now. It still has 3 months left on its international warranty.

The keyboard has some Korean symbols on it as shown in the photos but the the main characters on the keys are in English.

It is currently running 4.0.3 and Asus announced they are working on the 4.1 release according to the press release they made about a month ago.

If you are in Wellington you can come have a play and if you like it I can hold onto it until you can get the money together or you could take it away tonight if you have cash.

If you are keen to come see it my number is 027 2714779. I can text you my address.
