I'm looking for a MacBook Pro with any specs as long as it is 2011 or newer and has an i5 processor. As I'm a student, $950 is the most I can pay.

You'll be lucky to get one that new for $950, Macbook Pros keep a high resale price especially for the first couple years.


You will be looking at around $1400 for a 2011 13" Pro and even more if you're after a 15 or 17" model.


For what you're going to get you're probably better of spending the $950 on a brand new PC laptop that will be alot higher spec than any 2nd hand macbook pro in your price range.

Yeah, it i kinda hard to find cheap ones but TradeMe tends to have a couple in my budget usually, last night I lost an auction where a 2011 Pro sold for $955, $5 over my budget. I have a few more on my watchlist I'll be bidding on when they finish.
