Or are they really only available from ebay ?

My server switched itself off the other day and I found the CPU cooler on the bottom of the case, the retention bracket 'pins' had snapped off completely.

I've done various searches today but can find nothing other than the odd thread saying to replace the whole  motherboard.....is that really my only option ?

Cheers

I was going to ask the same thing! :)  Cheaper than replacing the motherboard; I think I too have a spare at home somewhere as I'm using a 3rd party cooler.

I just want the cheapest solution and assumed I'd be able to buy a new bracket easily. I'm not averse to a third party cooler just want the easier solution.

Let me know how much you want for the bracket and third party cooler please people. Shipped to the Kapiti Coast.

Thanks
