Hi guys,

I have for sale the phone mentioned in this thread:http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=97&topicid=115330

I purchased it about a week ago after doing some researching and reading that review - but what I didn't take into account was the size of the phone coming from my iPhone 4.

I am on the hunt for something around the 4.5in range so I thought I'd let this go and use my iPhone in the meantime.

Things I liked about it:
Battery life is very good - using it the same way I do my iPhone I got 14 hours out of it. Compared with 9 on the Apple Device.
The device runs a non molested version of Android which I much prefer to Touchwiz or Sense.
The screen is nice and and bright
The phone is quite snappy considering the modest specs - it lags slightly when opening the launcher for the first time but flicks between apps quite comfortably.
It came factory rooted.
It's 850/2100 WCDMA so works best on Telecom. The reception is very good.
Call volume and clarity was good - again compared to my iPhone.

Things I didn't think:
The screen viewing angle is not the best. Blacks soon go grey if you don't have it facing you.
The size - it's quite a large phone.
The SD card slot is internal so you have to remove the battery when swapping SD Cards
When mounted as a USB drive on my car headunit the screen stays on all the time - I'm not sure if this an Android thing or this phone
The automatic brightness doesn't scale smoothly - it seems to have set points IE 20% 40% 60% - so it is a bit jumpy.

Anyway - I'm hoping to get $200 for it. I paid $300 all up and you will get everything box included as I did.

Pickup would be from Mt Wellington or I can ship for free.

Thanks

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you.
