Hi All,

I'm after some 2/4/8Gb modules to replace a fistful of 1Gb modules for an ML350 G5.  We've secured one of these servers from a fellow Geekzoner and we are chasing some extra RAM to be able to run up a few more virtual machines on it.  This is just some test/learning equipment for getting more familiar with virtualisation tools.

Price-wise I would be happy to pay closer to $10/gb than $50/gb

Thanks in advance
Mike

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Looking at specs listed here: http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12475_div/12475_div.PDF

I am right to assume you need DDR2 ECC FB-DIMM modules? If so you might be in luck. I have sent you a PM.

Let me know if you need more as I could probably hunt some down.

Thank you very much for the offers so far.  I'm still looking for more in case I can populate a second chassis as well.

Thank you very much for the offers of assistance in securing this RAM.  I have accepted an offer.

dimsim I had intended to take you up on the 4x2Gb modules to put into a second chassis, but this turned out to be DOA.  Thank you for the offer anyway.

I've had a look too but they all turned out to be 1GB modules. :(

I have Dell Precision 490 which I think takes the same modules... if anyone had any spare 4GB modules I would also be happy to pay $10/GB.

PM me if interested.
