Hi There!

I am looking to procure a spare TV with the following Specs:

LED/LCD 42" (or bigger) 1080P, 2 x HDMI Minimum. Decent Brand (Not Transonic).

Ideally new or still under warranty but will consider offers.

Pref in Auckland

Budget $500.

If you know of any retailers with crazy specials on, or have a near new second hand one, please get in touch.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Could you send me the W series model number? Would you provide a 3 month warranty on it or something?

The model is 46W4500 (or 46W4000, Cant exactly remember it. Will get home tonight and confirm which one of the 2 it is). It is full HD, has 3 HDMI ports, Optical out, Freeview all going for it.

Sure for your peace of mind, I can provide 1 month warranty for full cash refund if something is wrong or faulty with the tv (excluding accidental or intentional damages).

Last weekend you could buy a 40" Konka for $400 from I think Harvey Norman (whichever the electronics shop is by K-Mart in Botany, East Auckland).  Not a very well known brand, but actually one of the largest panel makers in China.  It works fine, we have one that is 4-5 years old, just does not have lots of features like you get on Samsung/Sony (who gets panels from companies like Konka and adds processing power).

You can never have enough Volvos!

I have 32" already. I wouldn't go any lower than 42, and ideally 46+

Do you have a link to the thread anyways?

if you have a 32" I'd say no lower than 55" seriously. at least 50" anyway. I have a 50". it's too small.

As a spare tv for our beach place? With a budget of $500? I'd be pretty fortunate to pick up something that size that meets my needs.
