Hi again GZers,

I got rid of most of my junk last time, but I'm still looking to clean out the following (some listed last time, other stuff is new).  It's all got to go, I'm not taking it with me to Oz, so make an offer:

ASUS P7P55D mobo
Core i7-860 (Quad core + HT) @ 2.8GHz
12GB RAM (Kingston HyperX, 2x4GB + 2x2GB)
WD Green 1TB, clean, no OS or can install Linux Mint
ASUS nVidia GeForce 8400GS (Fanless, VGA/DVI out)

Other parts:
An additional ASUS nVidia GeForce 8400GS 512M (offers)

ASUS nVidia GeForce 6200 - 128M (cheap or free)

Qualtec Security cable x 2 (steel cable to stop things wandering off), original packaging, never used (offers)

Dual 3.5" SATA hardware RAID bay - add hot swappable mirrored drives to ANY box (offers)

Litecoin / Feathercoin / Dogecoin / whatevercoin miner or intense gaming card:
Gigabyte Radeon HD7990 dual GPU 6GB RAM only 3 months old - offers over $1000 (RRP $1400+)
Manages hashrates 1200-1300MH/s+

Elto power meter and box fan (free if you buy the Radeon)

ASUS WL-520GC Wireless access point & 4-port switch (offers)

Samsung SODIMM laptop RAM DDR3 10600 2GB x 2 (offers)

Linksys AG310 ADSL2+ Gateway with VoIP - fully operational but can be awkward to set up VOIP due to firmware bug (offers)

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Hi,

Can you tell me how old the desktop is? Since it has a Core i7 860, I'm guessing 4-5 yrs.
Regarding the desktop, what price range are you looking for?

Thanks,

Tim

Yeah, you're right it's probably 4 years old, but still plenty of grunt. I'm looking for $500-$700 and I might have a newer WD Red 1TB drive I can give you instead of the Green.  I'm also just debating whether to do a fresh install of Win8.1 on the PC I'm taking to Oz, in which case I'll have a legit copy of Win 7 Ultimate with CD to go with it.  Can't guarantee that though.

I might also mention that I had to hacksaw a very small part of the internal frame out to fit in the Radeon - it's not structural, it was just slightly in the way for the extra long card.

It's an earlier version of this Raidon: http://www.raidon.com.tw/RAIDON2013/enweb/en_product_web/en_intank/en_SR2611-2S-S2R.html, doesn't have a model number on it though, sorry.  It hasn't been running for a couple of years, so I'll see if I can power it up later and check it's all functional. I think the cooling fan on the back might have a bad bearing from memory so was a bit noisy, but should be easy enough to fix.

Interesting. I think I need 4TB drives though, so I don't think it'll work for me unfortunately.

Oooops.  Should say 1200-1300kH/s.  But you knew that already. :)

The Radeon card is now listed on TM because I'm very keen to move it to free up cash for travel, see TM user pih for listings and make an offer there instead.  The rest of the stuff I'll list early next week if no takers here.

nakedmolerat: keen on one 4GB ram

Hmmm, I presume you mean splitting the paired RAM in the box? At this stage I'd rather sell it all in one package, but if there are no takers I'll consider splitting it up.

Don't suppose the RAM are the Beast series? Would be interested in them if you end up splitting.

No, sorry, it's HyperX Blu, paired DDR3 modules.

Cheers,
Paul
