Pretty sure the battery is 100% useless, So value would be that of the unit.
Any reasonable offer is fine. Pickup only from Takapuna, Auckland.

We use the 1000HB units at work, there are 3 batteries in it and are between $20-$40 from places like Jaycar and Ideal Electrical, depends if you want to bring it back to life

There are alarm batterys at wholesalers which have smaller terminals and are totally useless in UPS's.

I have had good luck with the ones from PBtech.

Mine has died as well, continues to charge and battry is shown as only 63% and never goes higher looking at the software.
DjShadow, Is it safe to just rip it open then take the batteries to Jaycar to have them match for replacement?

The batteries Dynamix put in their UPS's are pure sh1t. They generally only last 12-18 months. We stopped selling them due to so so many failling. We only use APC or Eaton now.

In saying that though, only about $10-$20 for good quality replacements from battery wholesalers and are great for home use.
