There are a few more Mac laptops popping up on client sites these days.  I'm having to support them because my younger techs have no experience with them.

If anyone has a Mavericks capable Mac that they are happy to part with for a relatively small amount, I would be interested.  It's not going to be a money-maker, hence keeping the expense low.  We can add RAM if necessary.

We are in Auckland and are happy to pick up.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Can you give me an idea of what you mean by inexpensive. I have a 2010 MBP 15" I've just upgraded from I need to get rid of, but would want market rate type thing.

Was rather optimistically hoping for sub-$500.  :)

Would rather no go down the Hackintosh or VM route as that is almost certainly dodgy with respect to license agreements.  I can't justify in my own mind $850 for a Mac Mini.

Thank you for the Grays tip, though they exceed my $500 budget.  I've just realised that since retiring our in-house Exchange server and switching to Office365 I don't think I am receiving Graysonline emails anymore.
