This laptop came with a house we bought - abandoned by the previous owner. It's not working, comes up with a bios error message on start. No HDD. No PSU. WinXP pro activation key sticker underneath which I doubt is in use anywhere else.

Probably not much use unless you have a similar machine wth a broken screen you want to fix, or for the optical drive.  but I'm posting here in case anyone wants to intercept before it goes to the dump.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

I agree. Just thought there might be someone out there who might want it. If  I don't get a response here I'll drop it in to our local community computer recycling place. The XP license is  probably the only bit worth anything.

Where are you located? I know a school which uses this model of laptop for special learning and we may be able to part this one as their ones are constantly having issues!

Christchurch. They can have it for the price of postage if they like.
