Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

PB Tech has 1TB drives now for less than $100 + GST. What's cheap in your world?

Searching Trademe brings back plenty of results. Try Auction 978326052 for example. (search for that in the TM search box).  I believe PB also have 500GB units for slightly cheaper. Plenty of online computer retailers out there will have that order of size available, but <500GB is going to be mostly the second hand market now I suspect, unless there's some last-of-line stuff floating around.

TradeMe gives you the advantage you can search locally and pick up so no freight handling damage. That would be my strong suggestion.

Can send you one for $30 and will include a second one just in case the first one has a problem, but use me as your second option. Would not get it on the future until Tues or Weds.

Just to confirm are you talking 2.5" or 3.5"? I have plenty of 3.5" not sure about 2.5".

You could call a couple of local computer places (or a local computer or electronics recycling place) and ask whether they have any old drives.  They (like us) may have a number lying around but its not worth the effort to advertise them.
