As per title I have a bunch of gear I want to get rid of. I have tried to give away individual bits before but never had much luck so it's now available as a package deal...

High res shots here:

Original messageQuestion for mods... I read the rules and accordingly won't post a link here to my Trademe auction but... I have a bunch of interesting stuff (RAID controllers, SCSI cables, android tablet, speakers, PC, video cards, enclosures, CF card copiers, cabless, wifi adaptors etc) and I want to get rid of it. I have no idea what it's worth so I put it all in a single auction on Trademe with a $1 reserve for everything.

Seems sucky that I can't even post a link here. The reason I didn't offer the stuff individually or as a package here first is that I have no idea what any of it's worth now (probably over $8k when new, maybe more) so it didn't make sense, plus I want the least hassle method for getting rid of it.

If it doesn't sell at the auction first time round I am going to dump everything.

So, are the rules unsuitable for this sort of thing?

Cheers - N

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Sweet - thanks for that...

I can't emphasise enough how little I want to ship this or break it up. If you want one thing, you can take everything and do what you want with the rest :-) The shipping fee is deliberately extortionate so as to strongly discourage people wanting it shipped, or to encourage them to have a Chch mate pick it up.

Cheers - N

Wow that gave me a trip down memory lane!

The Infortrend SCSI RAID controller .. I used to build units based on them (the SCSI and SCSI/FC versions), back in 1997!  Had a goodly chunk of the BBCs AVIDs running off them, think we managed to squeeze almost 35MB/s out of them ;-)
