Hi.

My FIL has his Yamaha RX-Z7 Home Theatre Amp for sale.

This was pretty much the gold standard in home theatre and music sound quality and power in it's day. Cost a fortune. It was 1 model under it's flagship series.

It's a few years old now, because it was originally mine and I sold it to him, and he has "upgraded" to a model that supports his new 3K, 3D TV.

I had it connected to Monitor Audio Speakers, and a huge sub and it never failed me in any way. It's an extradinary bit of kit.

Please note that it doesn't support networking features like Airplay, and doesn't have support for 3D, 4K etc.

Specs here:

It's exceptionally heavy and I can freight it, but at the new owners expense and risk. I am in Auckland.

Asking Price $900 ono.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

This was a brute of an amp in it's day. Listened to this and the Z11, both were fantastic.

All the best dude.

Thanks. It's a steal to the person who understands what it is. I've owned flagship Yamaha's for 4 generations, nothing is as good for sound quality/power as this was.

Just to let you know it's on TM now, and has met reserve @ $705.

Finishes Sunday night if anyone is keen to bid!
