As the title says.. I am trying to find a EVGA GTX 1080 TI.

I cannot find one anywhere! Can anyone throw some hints on where to get on in stock if if someone has one for sale?

PBtech: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/VGAEVG6390/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-1080-Ti-Founders-Edition--11GB-GD  $1399

ComputerLounge: http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/components/componentview.asp?partid=28672 $1499.95

Or are you after a different version of the 1080TI?

I don't think you will find any evga cards yet unless you get founders. The 1080 TI FTW3 looks awesome though. I would just pre order that beast.

The ICX or ACX cooler cards look to be a few months off - if you want something now, it's founders edition, but if you're not planning on installing a third party cooler (like an EVGA Hybrid kit), I'd recommend waiting for the custom cards with better cooling solutions - no way nvidia has improved the founders edition cooling system enough to make it worth using on any system that doesn't need the blower ventilation.

Yeah I was keen on the founders edition as I didn't want to wait haha.

Have been waiting for a decent upgrade from my 780 for so long and this seems like the right time and also opens me up to game at 4k.

How long is the price gouging going to last on these cards. $1400 is ridiculous.

I don't think prices are going to drop (outside of specials) any time soon.
980Ti was ~$1300 right up until the 10 series came out.

Current estimations have the non-founders edition cards coming end of this month in the USA (a few have already shown up at various tech review sites) so we should see them by mid next month I would expect.

Nvidia GTX 1080 TI's selling out - No surprises there.

PB Tech estimate 3+ months until they have sellable stock because of pre-sales, I wish I knew they did pre-sales, I would have been right on that!

I was in the same boat... So I settled on the Asus 1080ti FE.  First prize would be the Strix version with aftermarket cooler + increased clock timings.

It was pretty rough getting stock of these cards, as soon as they arrived at vendors, they were sold... within minutes.

Not sure if you are keen on a Asus 1080ti FE, but if the strix versions become available soon which seems to be the case, I will sell my FE ... at a slight loss of course money-mouth

Ps. these cards are monsters, anything you throw at it with ultra high settings, this thing laughs it off without breaking a sweat.

I will be grabbing one once the 3rd party vendor cards arrive, that FE cooler just looks/sounds terrible.
Hopefully not too far off now

So tempted to sell my EVGA GTX 1080 FE w/ Hybrid Cooler, because the to looks good. But I just can't justify it.

I'm coming from a GTX 970 but also buying a 4K screen at the same time so I can sorta justify it :D

I jumped from a 970 --> 1080ti and the difference is crazy huge.

Only bad part I must mention, the heat that the 1080ti generates is pretty insane.  It does run pretty hot.

I wont be needing a heater in my study room this winter.

That is one reason I am waiting for the 3rd party vendor cards, early reviews show much more reasonable temps under load than Nvidia's blower cooler and much quieter as well.
