I've just pulled the trigger on a near-new car and want to keep it in good nick, without paying a fortune for detailing (for at least the first few years wink )

So I'm looking at getting a some trade detailing products, which are typically sold in bulk (4lt).

The 2 things I'm interested in are ...

Anyone interested in a divvy up (1lt minimum) for one of the above?

I'm in Auckland (central-east), so you need to be local or be able to come up here to get.

I'd be more inclined to take the vehicle for an initial detail and ceramic coating done by Obsessive Car Detailing http://www.ocdetailing.co.nz/

That way it requires minimal upkeep to maintain because of the coating

4 litre of the spray wax will last a really long time for a car. I will probably apply approx monthly after a clean (maybe about 10 times a year), so a litre will probably last me over a year.

More so with the cleaner, especially as it will get diluted a lot and I will mainly wipe down seats/dash etc regularly.

If I do run out earlier, I will happily buy some more :-)

BTW this stuff is regular/light use. If you keep light cleaning/waxing regularly, then the clear-coat does not degrade and stays in really nice condition(I also did a wax paste polish once a year). I did something similar with my old car for the first 8 or so years and it shined like new after a clean.

If I had a new Porsche, I would happily get a gold standard detail job. You still have to regularly keep it clean, as atmospheric pollutants will slowly eat away at the speciality coating, though to the clear-coat.

But I spent all but my soul on this car, so I need to do all the detailing myself
