Yes I'm well aware this is an ancient computer. I'm posting this for a mate.

He has an HP Compaq 6710b but I believe the 6730B has the same charger.

INPUT AC 100-240V 50-60Hz
OUTPUT: DC 19V 4.74A 90W

Connector Size:
Internal 5.0mm
External 7.4mm

Anyone have one of these lying around?

Sam ... is that connector tip one of those large jobs with a centre pin?  Usually had a yellow coloured rim?

 

If so, I have a Lenovo 90W 20V one that might do the trick?

PM sent, but I have a couple of these chargers floating about.  Going by google searches they are the standard HP large circular plug with the tiny pin in the middle

They are one of the many standard HP power packs :-) . Its a standard sort of plug, for many HP laptops
Some old Dell's also used the same plug & voltage .
