Hi all

Purchased a Mate 10 Pro yesterday (6th December) as was after a phone with fast charging and long battery life (which this does seem to have) however it seems I hate the interface and their system skin  (years of using close to stock on oneplus and samsungs interface seems to have soured my view on other devices).

Nothing at all wrong with the device, used it for about 4 hours so far (just playing with it).

Comes with everything in the box (phone, charger, handset, case, screen protector).

Purchased from Noel leemings and comes with proof of purchase.

24 month warranty.

Cost me $1299 but will let it go for $1100.

Pickup is Albany Auckland or can courier (track and trace, signature).

:p oh I know Samsung is not close to stock. What I was meaning is that I am use to Samsung's interface and the close to stock interface of OnePlus devices.

The mate 10 pro interface is making me see red and don't like it at all :(

@tripp at Noel Leemings - they have a policy that you can return if it does not suits you.. You have 7 days - they will not refund cash but store credit instead.

@nakedmolerat Thanks, I don't need $1299 of store credit however........

Also it says the following " returned in its original condition with packaging and invoice." The package has been opened so i would not think they would take it back. :(

I wouldn't want Noel Leemings credit either... Good luck with the sale! A pity you didn't like the phone.

You didn't want to try a custom launcher? Or a bit more drastic (and if you know what you're doing) a custom ROM?

I am using a custom launcher, its the menu setup and just random things missing that i am use to on my note8 (like changing the sound profiles etc).

Are you interested in a swap with a S8 plus difference? Bought when it was launched directly from Samsung and in top notch condition.

Off-topic but... You won't get "Close to stock Android" and things that Samsung put in there. The closest you can get to stock Android these days from NZ retail is the Nokia series. And they don't have that.

Just because you like Samsung doesn't make it stock Android.

I am using a Mate 10 Pro. Got a Nokia 8 for daugther.

He did clarify in a reply that he didn't mean that Samsung was close to stock Android.
