Social Bitcoin meetup every 2 weeks in Hamilton PM me for details
I have one of these and it has been solid and is a good value option.
That said I doubt that you will sell it for what you are asking, as AV gear pretty much halves in my view once it's second hand.
So while $300 is cheeky - and I wouldn't sell mine for this either - you are dreaming at $750 : )
Anyway - good luck! (And trade me may be a good option as you never know what some people will pay.)
Ditto this,
Read that too, so was thinking of withdrawing some $1000+ items & immediately re-listing them with prices reduced by 10% but don't see any advertising of the 'No Success Fee' promotion?

@cokeman2 - while kind of off-topic, I note you saying TM's offering nil success fees for auctions established today; I looked for info on this but to no avail - do you know if this is for all members, or a select group? Ta...

Thanks - clearly for a select audience! I have had this before, but clearly missed out this time.
Woah guys - this is not at all acceptable. I don't care what the internet says - if the OP wants $xx for it and you want to do a counter-offer or drop a hint if the price is actually too high (and you want it) then do so over private messaging - you're under zero obligation to buy. We've already banned people for doing this exact thing on the offers and wanted pages, it is insulting to the person selling and not at all welcome around here.
Not going to say this again...

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.
I'm not sure I agree with this approach. Us New Zealanders in general are very bad at haggling. Making a counter-offer is not insulting, it might be construed as time-wasting, but nobody should be taking offense. The seller didn't hand-craft this in their workshop. Having an open discussion of price is quite illuminating I find. Telling someone they're being a dick for asking too much is different to saying "Hey, will you take this offer?"

cokeman2: Just finishing up the thread
Sold on trade me for 670 today(thankfully I got no success fees)
It's a win for me ....now time to look for a new amp any suggestions should ask on appropriate thread since this ones crazy long.
Congratulations I guess. As I said, you would probably get that amount on Trademe as there are often, shall we say, less informed people buying stuff - quite often for more than new.
Anyway - in the absence of a new thread, I would recommend that you wait a couple of months and see what the price of the 676 becomes.
For the 656 (previous version, they didn't want a 666 model number for some reason), the price really dropped around the start of June and then kept fairly low (mid to high $600) until the stock was gone. They are now "selling" for $1500.
Now that the 686 is coming, I would expect the 676 to have a similar drop soon, so, hopefully $6-700 you should be able to get the NR676 one, based on past experience. This may or may not occur though as the distributors have changed I believe. I understand that ONKYO is no longer distributed by Avalon Audio (who seemed to often undercut their retail sellers to clear for a new model), so I am unsure what the behaviour of the new distributors will be like.
Anyway - I would recommend waiting until or just after Queens Birthday to see what happens.
Cheers.
