Clearing out the garage:

Two HP N40L microservers, no hard drives, one is an N40L with 8GB RAM, the other has 4GB and is (I think) also an N40L. No hard drives, but at least one of them and I think both I did the firmware flash to enable hotswapping drives. I've been running them as FreeNAS boxes off a USB thumb drive for boot, in each case with four drives.

Two FritzBox 7490's (ex 2Degrees contracts, one the old red colour, one the newer blue colour), both with the power adapter and one with a box and at least some of the odds and ends that come with. Will be factory reset.

All working condition. Open to offers as they are just sitting around at the moment and I'd prefer to sell here than the hassle of TradeMe. Pickup from Mangere Bridge.

Have you run Plex or similar from the micro servers? Interested to know how they perform streaming 1080 content, transcoding etc. I have the older EX490 which is struggling a little these days (upgraded to a Core2Duo from the base Celeron) but not sure if the N40 with the 1.5Ghz Turion is going to be any improvement.

@firefuze 1080p content will struggle with the original Microserver I'm afraid. They're however a great NAS.

Yep the processor isn't up to stuff like Plex transcoding. Basically these are best as a NAS server

How much would you want for the N40L with 4GB?
