Looking to purchase one of these if someone has one lying around, secondhand. I know they're probably a bit new for someone to have one second hand, but I can only but ask!

Was there any particular reason you want the NanoHD?

In case it's the size or 802.3af support which interests you over the theoretical speed, the AC Lite gives you both for half the price. The Lite supports 802.3af Mode A in later hardware revisions. I installed two AC Lites in my neighbour's place on Waitangi Day and these are great value for money.

If you need to cover a larger area, two APs are probably better than one.

I also have a UniFi AC-Pro laying around if you want to put an offer to purchase that. @SirHumphreyAppleby is right, you're unlikely to get any improvement going towards the NanoHD.

The Theoretical maximum was definitely the main reason for looking at the nano-station, including 4x4 MIMO. Not really worried about PoE, don't have any PoE currently deployed.

Basically the intention is for it to be better than the 3x3 MIMO Netcomm router provided by Slingshot (both in range and throughput). The AC-PRO is 3x3, so presumably the throughput would remain largely the same. So I may get better coverage, but still not as great for multiple devices I assume.

The area I'm trying to cover isn't huge, so basically a 15-30% improvement (in coverage) would actually be enough to keep me happy for my current place.

I would likely be using my RPi as the controller.

Thanks, but not quite the device I'm looking for!
