Looking for a docking station which would cater to  HP (powered by USB-C adapter), Lenovo & Dell (different adapters) laptops and a Surface occasionally, dual monitors. Any suggestions?

I have one that springs to mind, an HP 3005PR.  This is a USB3 dock that has DisplayPort, HDMI, Ethernet and USB ports (and audio I think).  I have used mine for a few years.  In fact I might want to sell it if you are interested :-)

I think the only common connection you will find on all those is USB Type A, especially on the Surface.

If you are going to buy the surface dock then the cheapest place by a large margin is Amazon

Thanks for the responses.

@timbosan & @pgsheng, Thanks for the offer. Will get back to either one of you once I decide on something.
