So I need this cable to connect a Seasonic SS-400FL psu to a Asrock b450m motherboard and (hopefully) get my new build running. Problem is NO-ONE in NZ seems to stock this particular cable. I've been into several PC stores including Pbtech who are NZ's stockist of Seasonic, yet none were able to help. My googling comes up with absolutely nothing for this cable in NZ, only overseas which I would have to wait weeks to receive.

Does anyone on here happen to have a spare one of these cables laying around that they would be willing to sell? Or know where I can find this very elusive cable? Thanks.

I had a similar problem with a GPU PCI-e cable for a seasonic PSU. I had to get one off ebay as I couldn't find anything locally.

I have one (that is spare), with that same connector on one end, but the other end is keyed differently... can you post a pic of the female socket on your PSU please.

Just googled your PSU and the pin config at the other end is different to my cable sorry.

If you have a spare any sort of cable with 8 wires you can eject the pins and put them into another housing you pillage from a broken PSU or something.

Had a look no luck, the best I suggest is find some thing that can fit (even if forced a little) then check and re-pin at 4 PIN CPU end. You tube shows you often how to take these plugs apart and re-pin and check, you should use a multi-meter.

Same here. Just last Saturday I rescued a box of left-over modular PSU cables from a trip to the e-waste collection and it was sitting beside me as I opened your post.  One of them matched your picture, but following richms I googled, found a picture I could zoom in on, and none of the sockets on the Seasonic will take the cable I found.
