This is my first calculator - a Hanimex 850.  It's still in my cupboard waiting to show any great grandchildren when they are produced.

wellygary: From my hazy memory there was also some form of “space invader” variant that had numbers getting progressively closer that you had to defend against ...

CASIO MG-880....i remember after a few hrs hitting the maximum score before starting from zero again. A classic,i played this in 1980/81 as a 13/14 year old.

Casio memories. The CQ 81 was my first ever tech purchase from hard earned newspaper delivery.

I thought it was amazing, it even had an alarm!

I am from a slightly younger generation but still remember the boxing one. My dad had the Casio calculator dice game one below, and I have now got it in a drawer somewhere. There is something about this old tech from casio that still seems modern today. Even their old 80's watches are still sold new today and have a timeless look to them.

A friend had the boxing Casio, thought it was fantastic :D

Ditto. Many after school hours were spent attempting to reach the top of the ladder.

@dafman I've still got one of those Casios!! I think I used it's alarm more than its calculating capabilities!
