Hi folks

Some of you may be aware that I am a member of the MediaPortal development team (my MediaPortal forum handle is also mm1352000). I mostly focus on TV Server development because that is what I seem to be good at. As a TV Server developer I have found it useful to have access to a range of tuners to help with troubleshooting, feature development and regression testing. In order to improve my contribution to the team I'm looking to extend my tuner collection with tuners from the following manufacturers:

Hauppauge
Tevii
TBS/Prof Red/Prof Revolution
Digital Devices/Mystique
KNC One
Conexant
Genpix

If you have any old tuners made by one of the above manufacturers that you'd be interested in selling then flick me a PM with the tuner details and I'll let you know if I'm interested. Ideally I'd be looking to buy:

- satellite (DVB-S or DVB-S2) tuners
- tuners that can be extended with CI modules (slots for TV provider subscription cards)
- tuners with unusual features such as PID filters or hardware encoders

Interface is not really important so long as it is either PCI, PCIe, USB or Firewire (I don't have a laptop for PCMCIA/CardSlot). They don't have to be flash or in as-new condition either - functional is all that is required...

Thanks in advance,
mm

You say you are looking for DVB-S tuners but I thought I would say anyway.

Have these
Compro dvb-t300 (modified bracket to low profile) (PCI)
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1900 (USB)

If you would like any of these feel free to make an offer.

Just thought I would add that I have used both of these with mediaportal tv server with no issues

I've got a fireDTV (or floppyDTV, can't remember the difference, and a Twinhan card of some description that are free to a good home if you'er interested. I was looking at decrypting TelstraClear cable (legitimately - I had a decoder card). There was a CAM (if I recall my terminology correctly) somewhere as well. Let me know if you're interested. They haven't been fired up in a couple of years, so can't guarantee they still do much.
