Hi I am the Pastoral Care officer at St. Thomas of Canterbury College. Last year I did some volunteer work in the Philippines for the Edmund Rice Network Oceania

working with kids who are struggling in the education system.

I am returning to run some seminars to assist the local teachers with skills and resources to help their less able students.

I am hoping to load up the resources onto usb flash drives for the teachers there to use. My problem is that I need about 50 free or cheap usb drives! Can anyone help me?

Any idea on the space required?

Cheapest around seems to be this 2GB sandisk for $5 (x50 = $250) at the Warehouse. The Sandisk U3 program on it can be removed (recommended!) using a utility provided with the drive. Actual capacity might be closer to 1.82GB.

By the way, if you have any sensible use for a complete set of Encyclopedia Britannica 1980 (delivered in Auckland) you are welcome to them. My guess is the huge cost of transport (est 50kg) renders them useless for your needs.
