My thoughts is that you should be looking for around half your asking price...

Yeah with this sort of gear, what you paid for it is now irrelevant unfortunately.

Times are moving quickly in consumer electronics.

Plus $150 in shipping, plus $390 odd in import tax. Plus the fact it's 120V, plus no warranty.

Yep sounds worth buying it from the US..
