Hi Guys. Just purchased a Tomtom 340 from Dick Smith as in their Christmas flyer, for $297 which included a bonus map of Australia. The guy in DSE said just to download the map from Tomtom.com. Didn't give me any redemption advice or anything else.

Have looked on the site and there is no reference to this promotion at all.

Anybody here have the same problem?

Thanks Naked, gee this is a great forum, a reply within an hour. All sorted now and waiting for download from Tomtom.

Why do the retailers supply so little information regarding redemptions? The sales person at DSE had no idea how to claim the free Oz map, I was told just to log into Tomtom.com and it would all be explained.

Perhaps they gamble on people not being bothered with redemptions as they are too much hassle so maybe only having a small percentage actually taking up the offer.

Well the salesperson was right - Go to tomtom website and redeem it --- most likely they were told by the tomtom product manager that's how it is done...just go to tomtom and get free oz map.......
