I would be very keen on a 7390 should Snap get them in!

I've got a vdsl upgrade along with fritzbox order in with snap ATM. Waiting for your stock to be replenished.

Are the new units coming in with the current batch, and if so how much more?

If the price is okay I'll take one over the existing option.

I too have a snap plan change in the process and a 7340 on order. If the new 7390 is not too much more I would consider the upgrade, mostly for the extra ethernet prots

Got mine from Snap (for UFB in Halswell) last week.

Install isn't happening for a week or two, but I've already configured some settings and found it very easy to work with.

Even got my daughters iPod Touch configured as a phone! She's absolutely over the moon that she'll be able to make and receive calls now. Also setup my Android phone and my wifes iPhone, so really our cordless phones are somewhat unnecessary with the 7390.

Didn't see the reply untill after my 7340 was sent out :(

Easy to set up and to configure the VoIP number, now our android phones and the sip phone all work on the same number at home \o/

Hey Snap, are we able to buy one of these from you even if we are not a customer? I'm hard pressed to find any good VDSL2 modems around that has as many functions as this, for the same price.

Cheers.

I just signed up today for VDSL with the 7390, swapping over everything from Vodafone.

Anyone have any idea how long the process normally takes?

Got a call today, my 7390 is shipping tomorrow, connection should hopefully be done next week on Friday.

The FritzFon I ordered is out of stock though so may not arrive in time.

I know you can use an iphone/android device but can someone recommend a reasonable cordless phone that will work with the fritzbox 7390 that I can get from a local online retailer?

Thanks.

Any phone will work plugged in the the back of the Fritz. But I registered my 2 Panasonic DECT phones directly so I could put the charging bases where I liked.

I was unable to register my phones (tried many) till I did a factory reset on the fritz after I had been trying for ages.

If you have grief, try a reset and see how you get on.

I also had major issues with mine - until I did a factory reset.

From what I understand, snap set these up before they send them out - along with upgrading the firmware. It would seem they don't factory reset them after the upgrade - which might explain the weird issues.

Just a guess. :D

So that means it can be used for ADSL2+/VDSL2 and then fibre if it arrives later were ever you are or I guess move to...???

I read the review mentioned here and he said the same thing for the Aussie NBN aka fibre as it has the correct WAN port..(???)  100mbps...

It means a saving on connection charges I think if you don't have to close one and open another using new hardware etc....

Regards

Laurie
