Trying to play some COD. Fine for a few seconds, then I end up on 1 bar (Others are 3-4) and it starts rubberbanding. What is the point of Orcon UFB when it is dialup half the time.

Luckily I'm at a friends place today, just ran a test (Telecom) and it's fine, but i did notice sine 10-15 minutes ago, my teamviweer to home turned to complete crap, but i thought it might just be this old laptop.

stop using up all the bandwidth with unnecessary speed tests!  don't you realise we're in an internet drought?

Well...if Orcon (or any other ISP for that matter), had real-time network status updates, we (consumers) wouldn't need to perform these checks.

Yep, pings are cranking up again, around 150-200ms to Sydney for me right now. Speeds are about quarter, if not less for download...

Yup mine turned to crap about noon yesterday. Over 1000ms ping times in my games. Unplayable.

Had a reply from a @orcon guy on twitter, I promptly replied that when I have an issue, it seems that alot of others on GZ have the same issue, this was his reply.

'Orcon: Thanks for the reply, indeed it would seem there is a wider issue. We are currently investigating. ^MC'

Yeah well I had a chat as well with there lvl 2 engineer however no one is telling us anything. There is a mysterious problem that they are looking into. Yet no ETA nothing on the Network Status page. This is so bad for the 3rd largest ISP in NZ to be like this.
