A "wireless network only" like the dropbox app would be nice so no 3g is used

I actually would want to use GeniusGo app in only 3g at the moment.  The reason is that my phone is bombarded with missed calls which I answered using my home phone.(I work from home)

3g data usage for picking up home phone line on mobile would be minimal, IMO.

Would be nice if you could use your own sip server

then you could have features such as incoming calls going to your own pabx, from which callers could choose who they wanted to speak with from its menu which would put the call through to your phone.

This would make the app more universal and I'm sure it would be a great way to promote orcon

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

There are plenty of other apps out there to do that.

GeniusGo is never going to be an opensip client. Its not what it was built for.

Have to agree, this app is meant to be a simple client with little to no configuration required.
There are some design decisions in the way the app works that means it would not work as expected without quite a bit of work by the user on the PABX.

It sounds like you are after a business solution, or perhaps extension dialing.

How about copy-pasting numbers into the dialer from another app?

hamish225: how about multiple phone numbers so you could assign each mobile its own local number

Do you see this as being similar to having a Skype Number like this  or an extension to the Home number that can be dialed to go to a particular device?

With transfere did you want to transfere between paid versions, app and pstn, or between free versions? A little further detail would help define that one:)

Paul

i mean like pay $5 a month for an extra 'line' to your mobile if you so desired, and that line would have its own local phone number that could be dialed from any phone in the world just like your main landline number can now

*Insert big spe*dtest result here*

Please add to the list the ability to for the app to know when you are currently on a mobile call on your phone so the GeniusGo app doesn't ring. This can get a bit annoying at times.
