Hey guys,
Have a job in the system at present with some strange quirks.. wonder if any of you have seen and resolved it (and subsequently I can and then close the calls) before yourselves.
When doing the wizard to add devices, the phone ring will give the standard NZ ring-ring. But once configured you get oddball ringing, sporadic at best from actual incoming triggered calls. And quite often a long ring, then a blip.. then a gap.. and more ring.
I've looked at the aussie support forums and spotted someone mentioning similar, and had success with the regional options while others tried and had no luck. Last time I messed with those I managed to kill other functionality and reset so not touched it as part of my current diagnosing.
Its not just a Uniden thing, I put a standard ph directly to FON1 earlier to eliminate the possibility of the 7-way panel causing issues with 3 devices attached and it still gives intl long ring.
The other quirk happens to be regarding call waiting. It DID go (up until a recent gateway change made to fix no outgoing calls) but now some time after this change flash has decided to either work, or other 50% of the time drop both calls :) Now this I suspect might be related to said gateway or other fancy toggle. No option to adjust the flash timeout on the phones sadly.
Thoughts and ideas? Do I have another hack at resetting the regional options to something like UK or AU and re-create the STUN details...
