EDIT: I just posted about a current outage, but checked the status page, and it is discussed there. Just incase anyone else is having FTP and email issues today.

18/04/14 8:20 am iServe Outage

Backup circuit in place but users may still experience some packet loss and latency. Engineers still investigating with vendor. No ETR from vendor as yet. Current iServe service availability is:
Accessible:
iServe Shared hosting (except FTP). iServe mail (except the customers who use Death2Spam), KiwiWebHost, Dedicated servers, iServe DNS

Not accessible:
Avalon Web Cluster, IDM, HMC, iserve FTP, Death2Spam (mail is queued up, it will be delivered once D2Spam becomes available again).
external access to shared hosting mysql servers (internally they are accessible so shared hosting is available).

The backhaul fibre has been repaired, the iServe platform is up and engineers are checking/removing any workarounds put in place earlier today.
