richms: I run my own DNS server here not forwarding to snaps and I have no problems at all. Flatmate who has their snap connection all set up default has been complaining about things.

Like I've got IPv6 enabled with Google's DNS servers on and it still has the same issues.  What exact problems is he talking about?

Disable IPv6 and see if that fixes your issue - worked for me with same symptoms.

I was having slow browser issues on Wikipedia,  Youtube and other sites. Disabling IPv6 did NOT help, changing DNS away from Snaps DID help.
Since changing DNS to 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 problem is gone, something is screwy with Snaps DNS Servers

Unfortunately disabling it only increases performance a little bit, there's still something else going on behind the scenes.  Also why haven't Snap's DNS servers been fixed yet..  This issue seems to have been happening for quite sometime.
