richms: And whatever you do, log a ticket so you have something to show when you tried to start resolving the problem if you need to bail for somewhere else.

Keep logging tickets till its sorted or you give up.

Usually talking to a brick wall with the Orcon Thailand call centre -.-

So long as you have a log of the date and time to provide when they try to stick you with contract termination fees etc or just randomly send you to collections 4 months after you leave them.

That's because the destination is a New Zealand server. I believe most people here are complaining about international throughput.

Hi Guys

Can you please give us the IP address or domain name of the game server your connecting to please?

Generally Counter Strike in particular is Latency and Packet loss sensitive, and almost not worth playing if your 60+ms if your connecting to Australian servers this should be good depending on the peering arrangement's.

Kind Regards
Bevin

The troubles I was experiencing a couple of months ago have now returned. Same thing, League of Legends at peak time is now unplayable.

Yeah, getting 60ms ping instead of 40ms to CSGO AU servers now.
Something isn't right. Lag spikes all the time also.
103.10.125.80 is one of the servers. Goes to equinix sydney.

I have contacted some of the UFB customers via PM who have posted in this forum so that we can do some testing to some of the Valve and CSGO servers tonight at the same time to collect some more data that is going to be consistent, with a view to presenting that to the appropriate team, should we find a underlying issue.

For reference though, I am on VDSL at home, and accessing that remotely and running a trace route & path ping to the server in Australia middle of the day, yields this

Also for reference on my VDSL connection, I have not once experienced any of the issues the UFB customers have reported to the same games, Dota 2 & CSGO

If you received a PM from me, or if you're willing to help PM me a tracert/pathping. Please locate the server address to which you're having issues in OZ, and PM me a tracert and pathping, taken from anywhere from around 6pm- 11pm please include a time stamp for reference.

Also if you don't ask you don't know, so has there been any customers on VDSL or ADSL that have had a similar problem or the same problem, when testing to close-ish servers such as OZ?

Thanks to any and all who assist. sealed

Oh one more thing, please ensure your router DNS settings are set to Orcon's if you have changed them for whatever reason, for this testing as we want to get as good of a baseline as we possibly can.

The addresses are -

Primary: 121.98.0.1
Secondary: 121.98.0.2

Cheers
