hio77:LT0D: I had issues with the modem since day one and to be honest, gave up trying to get a solution because snap rep/s never got back to me. So can understand that i am not happy to pay for something that hasnt been right since day one, as far as the phone side of it.
The fritz's had quite a rough patch of firmwares that didnt preform very well at all.
Because of this, many of us use older firmwares.
Having seen the performance of the newer firmwares on fibre, This certainly does seem to be resolved now. It is my understanding Snap have been working hard with AVM to get things sorted.
What exactly did you have issues with on your fritz?
Running the latest update.
Random tone sounds during calls, calls dropping, at it's worse the phone dropped a call 5 times in 30mins, people ringing my cell phone because they thought we were out but in fact home but the calls never rang at our end but they said it was ringing.
I've had fibre at 2 houses, used a number of different phones, tried everything but a different modem. Rang snap to see if i could get a new modem but gave up, when i wasn't getting anywhere with snap. other than them telling me i will have to, effectively buy the new modem at RRP.
