Recently switched from Skinny to Slingshot because of the bundle deal.

I don't use voicemail and want to disable it altogether, but no one at Slingshot seems to know how to do that (already called several times)

The voice mail self-service number doesn't help either.

Has anyone managed to disable it? Looks like Slingshot has not trained their staff properly again....

Hi there,
Sorry that the team couldn't answer - that's likely because it's a bit tricky.
Voicemail actually can’t be disabled, but it can be changed from voicemail to an answer service which basically just plays a pre-recorded message to the caller that they have not been able to get through to the person they called but doesn’t leave a voicemail. (Or you can leave it blank it just goes 'beep')
This is done by selecting the settings option and then activating the answer service. FAQ below.
Hope that helps, Quentin

Hi Quentin

Yes I noticed this option when calling 6888.
Not really a good option for me as sometimes I might not have my phone with me and want to have it ring continuously.

Is disabling voice mail going to be an option in the future?

Hi there,
I doubt it's on the product roadmap sorry.
Thanks, Quentin
