Hi all,

I need help on Slingshot Fibre connecting and disconnecting every few seconds.
Issue started just after 1am Thursday early morning.
I have tried to reboot and power off my router, and the ONT as well.

I do notice the optical light on ONT seem to blink in steady manner (like left/right car indicator), if I remember correctly it show solid green light.

I have called Helpdesk on Friday morning but when I followed up yesterday was told ETA 5 working days.

Anyone experienced this around Thursday and manage to get it sorted?

Thank you.

Below is log from my router.

I've been experiencing the exact same thing since around 12am yesterday (04/08) - I'm on the phone with support now and there's nothing obvious at their end so they're going to send out a new modem....hmm my ASUS RT-AC68U is completely fine thanks! but I'll try anything I guess.

Did you resolve this? if so any tips?

Cheers!

Oh thank god i was not the only one.

Same router as well, think default is on.

When i was working with slingshot they did do something on their side that keep the connection up for 24 hours but then had the issue again.  After that I reset the router and i was just flicking things on and off to see what happen, I must have flicked that.

I did test out a nf4v which also still had the same issue so could be something on both sides maybe.

Hi guys, sorry for late reply. Has been busy at work and hardly got chance to login.

Initially the L2 Slingshot called back to ask me put back old router, I did try that and the connection seem stable (no connect/disconnect) however the connection is much much slower with the modem supplied. So I tried to troubleshoot again with my Asus router.

I managed to resolve the issue by re-enter my username and password and the connect/disconnect issue resolved (I'm still puzzled though as why that resolve the issue).

Hope this may help other?
