Tempting. Very tempting. I've actually just gone to a 28-day Skinny plan with 150mins rollover (never use any) and 750MB rollover for $16. I cold use the extra 250MB/mth and that data clock is a real bonus for the odd heavy usage too. But my locked Skinny phone is only 6 months old so it's only free to unlock after another 3 months unless I pay the $30, which I won't do on principle. So I guess that give me some breathing space to weigh up the pros and cons.

@cadman Skinny now has the "Core" plan for $16 with 150 min and 1GB data (both rollover). I've just upgraded my old Big Value prepay combo to the Core plan and my carryover remained intact. I had to pay the $16 up front when I changed, though.

@littleheaven Yes, I'm rather painfully aware of that... haha

They are only after keeping the prepay user happy
and know us pay monthly guys will stay with out complaining. And this is the reason why I'm leaving my 29 pay monthly plan and returning to prepay.

I've decided to abandon my carryover data and switch to Skinny. I emailed 2D two full working days ago to ask if I could transfer the accrued data to a prepay plan with carryover, and they haven't even replied. From previous responses on their Facebook page the answer seems to be no, anyway.

You can take accrued prepay carryover data to postpay, but not vice versa.

Thanks. I couldn't justify the extra spend to keep my ever accruing carryover data, so I sacrificed it for a cheaper prepay deal.
