Combine with the static on my home line, and the "9-5 support" and I might just be availing myself of a switch back to Telecom (thanks to their insistence that their service is so great they don't need to lock you into contracts!)
it sounds as though you may have a dodgy line given that you have static on it - this would be affecting your broadband performance, I would encourage you to log a fault.
Our support desk is open 8am - 10pm currently, not sure where you got the 9-5 from.
I didn't mean 9-5 literally ;) But it is still a big ask for us to put up with 8-10 support when with Telecom I had someone to complain to 24/7 - and I was especially displeased to call up Orcon on Sunday to find that the person I was talking to was the "after hours" person and I had to call back on Monday. The fellow I talked to today had logged a fault, so now whether I stick with the new service depends on how this gets handled. Here's hoping!
