Paparangi: So does everyone that gets the green special pins get unlimited data, or do you just go in the draw? Trying to work out if it’s worth the drive.

I would say into the draw

Hi guys,

Sorry but the 10GB limit is the 10GB limit, so that means no more Data Hunting, including winning the 12 Days of Christmas promo, beyond that amount.

We need to make sure there’s enough data for all of the hunters!  But point taken it’s a shame you can’t play the promo – something for us to review next year.

Regards

^POB

From 2D on FB:

Hi Scott. That's correct just one person that spins the Christmas Pin today will win the major prize everyone else that finds it and spins it will receive 1GB of data. Good luck! AG

So...assuming that the 12 days of Christmas promo is the "big fish" this year, I assume there are no longer any gold pins this time around?

I haven't seen a single one.

They’re around. But much less I’ve thought.

And you have to be right on top of all pins this year. I’ve driven past one and it didn’t trigger. Not doing well this year.

Are the gold pins available to everybody? Please post the location if you spot one. I understand that they are not permanent or available for a short time period this year.

Finding this a bit of fun now I've switched from Vodafone so I can use the data. Was up in Auckland staying at my partner's parents place in the weekend so we had a little drive around their area to gather some. Interesting that it is usually a different amount for both of us and my partner always gets more when it is. When it gave me 50mb or 75mb she was getting 100 or 150. The best one we got gave me 300 and her 400. Up to about 3Gb now without going too far out of my way.
