I have port forwards of 80 and 443 from the router to my raspberry pi for accessing home assistant and the unifi controller from outside.

I haven't got the need to access them from the outside for a while but today I discovered I can no longer access port 80 nor 443. Other port forwards seem to work perfectly. I am pretty sure these were working before (a few month ago? Don't remember clearly). I switched outside ports to 81 and 444 and they worked as a charm.

So can anyone from slingshot confirm if you have started to block 80 and 443 on public IPs recently? If so is there a way to opt out? I am on UFB in Auckland.

Oh thanks. The word "filtering" didn't catch my eyes.

<Insert lecture about how you really shouldn't be using port forwarding like that>

Information wants to be free. The Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it.

There is a line in my office that we often quote:

The most secure server is the one that does not run anything.

Jokes aside, I have enough confidence in the security measures I put in place.
